State Minister for Peace meets EU’s Ambassador to Afghanistan

The Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, Abdul Salaam Rahimy, met with Pierre Mayaudon, the European Union Ambassador to Afghanistan.

The two sides discussed recent developments in the country and the Afghan peace process.

Mr. Mayaudon announced the EU's support for the Afghan peace process and stressed that the bloc was ready to cooperate with the Afghan government in this regard.

Mr. Rahimy in addition to expressing his gratitude to Mr. Mayaudon, also talked about the recent activities of the State Ministry of Peace (SMP).
