Eastern zone Office of the State Ministry for Peace in the East Zone officially opened at the presence of the State Minister for Peace, the Nangarhar Governor, members of Nangarhar Provincial Council, local officials, a number of senior advisers and heads of the State ministry for peace, local influentials, religious scholars, war victims and civil society representatives.
Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, The State Minister for Peace, headed by an official delegation and a number of senior advisers and heads of the ministry to the Nangarhar province for the official opening of the representative office of the Ministry in the eastern zone. The governor of Nangarhar, the deputy governor, members of the provincial council, local and influential officials and elders of the province were welcomed the delegations.
Initially, the State Minister for Peace and the official of Nangarhar province discussed the security situation in the province and the issues related to the peace process. Zia-ul-Haq Amarkhil said that the management of the current security situation is done with the cooperation of people, and people always support the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi said in the meeting that the role of the people in ensuring peace and improving security is very crucial and without their cooperation and playing the role of management and leadership of local authorities, we will not see security and peace in society.
Then, the opening ceremony of the Eastern Zone office of the State Ministry for Peace began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the playing of the national anthem.
Zia-ul-Haq Amarkhail, the governor of Nangarhar, in his speech at the ceremony, thanked the State Minister for Peace for opening the first representative office of the ministry in Nangarhar and said that the reason for this initiatives is belongs to the Nangarhar people which is peace lovers. He added that the people of Nangarhar province have sacrificed a lot to protect the country and the values of the Islamic Republic.
While praising the support of the people of the eastern zone, Mr. Amarkhail said that the message of peace of men and women of this province from all social and religious addresses will always be loud and will be louder.
He added that the repetition of the message of brotherhood, empathy and solidarity between the tribes and religions that exist among the people of the eastern zone will ultimately lead us to peace.
Referring to the recent terrorist attacks, the governor of Nangarhar said that with the increase of violence, the casualties, including women and children, have increased and it is necessary to strengthen peace efforts, take more practical measures and speed up the peace process.
He further said that the opening of the Eastern Zone Office of the State Ministry for Peace at this time and situation is a timely and important step.
The Governor of Nangarhar appreciated the presence of influential people, Islamic scholars, families of war victims, representatives of civil society organizations and local officials at the ceremony and their support for the peace process.
Following the ceremony, Abdul Basit Hafezi, The heads of zones of the state Ministry for Peace read out the decree of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on the appointment of Faizan al-Haq Qazizada Head of the East zone at the State Ministry for Peace
Faizan al-Haq Qazizada, head of the Eastern Zone of the State Ministry for Peace, spoke about the importance of peace from the perspective of Islam, saying that establishing peace would lead to the growth of society and the strengthening of security in society.
Mr. Qazizada pledged to make every effort to ensure the success of the East Zone Office, and to do so in consultation with the various strata. He called for the cooperation of the people to advance the relevant affairs.
A member of the provincial council Asrarullah Murad, while praying for the souls of the martyrs, said that now the ground has been prepared for peace and there is a national feeling in this regard.
Qari Mohammad Dawood Mujahid, Head of Hajj and Religious of Nangarhar Province, referring to the holy ayah said that peace is one of the guides of Islam and the main desire of the people, especially the victims. He added that the Islamic scholars are cooperating in the peace process to end the sacrifice of the country's Muslims.
Nasartullah Arsala, former governor of Paktia, while expressing the support of the people of Nangarhar for the peace process, said that negative propaganda against the Islamic Republic is being carried out while we are seeking to provide services to the people.
Sharifullah Naseri, a member of civil society, stressed the importance of bringing peace to the people mental and called to work in this area
Mr. Naseri said the Taliban should be serious about peace talks. The people do not want extremism and defend the republic as the will of the nation.
Referring to the recent attack on vaccinators, he called it an attack on humanity.
Speaking on behalf of women, Ms. Kainat welcomed the opening of the eastern zone office of the State Ministry for Peace said that work must be done on the minds of the people to achieve peace.
Referring to the capacity of today’s women, she called for more participation of women in peace as the main victims of the war.

In his speech, the state Minister for Peace, Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, expressed his pleasure on the occasion of launching the office for the Eastern Zone Provinces at the ministry. He called these provinces the land of the proud people and greeted the martyrs of the eastern zone.
He mentioned that the reason for opening office for the East Zone is a joint and close work of the state Ministry with the people to provide a platform for consultation and sharing the views and suggestions of the peace-loving people of the East Zone.
The state Minister for Peace described the Afghan’s message to the region and the world as peace-loving, saying that with the withdrawal of the international troops, there was no excuse for the war to continue. People do not surrender to force and believe that war has no winner and peace has no loser.
Mr. Naderi said the Taliban should seize the opportunity and work for a dignified and lasting peace. He called Nangarhar province an example of peace and said that those who seek to waste opportunities should be held accountable to the people.
Referring to the honorable role of Islamic scholars, the state Minister for Peace said that three prominent religious scholars are also part of the negotiating team of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Mr. Naderi called women half body of the society, adding that they are the main victims of the war, while they have played a key role in the achievements of the last two decades. He added that women's participation would bring peace processes closer to success, and that four members of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's negotiating team were prominent women of the country.
The state Minister for Peace considered the civil societies as the main partners in the peace process and said that the zone offices of the Ministry will provide the ground for the activity and participation of these societies.
Emphasizing the need for consensus and unity in stance, Mr. Naderi said the scattered voices were weak and inaudible. He added that unity over common interests is the key to moving from the current situation to the desired.
Later the participants prayed for peace and the defeat of enemies’ conspiracy.
Officials and elders attending at the ceremony cut the ribbon, and wished success to its officials.
At the end of the visit, the State Minister for Peace laid a wreath to the Ghazi Amanullah Khan tomb. He also prayed at the tomb of the late jihadi leader Haji Abdul Qadir.
