Participation of the State Minister for Peace in the Opening Ceremony of Shaheed Fatima Khalil School

Yesterday the State Minister for Peace had the profound honor of attending the inauguration of the first school in Afghanistan for children with all types of disabilities. The Fatima Khalil school has provided, for many of the 50 students, the very first experience of education in their lives.

The Minister’s goal in the ongoing negotiations is to ensure that the progress that Afghanistan has made over the last twenty years is not erased, but expands, so that all children, regardless of disability, ethnicity, or gender in this country, can realize their true potential in a peaceful society.
