The State Minister for Peace: Sport Is the Best means of Uniting Nations and Strengthening National Unity

Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi the State Minister for Peace met with Dr. Hamid Shinwari the chief executive officer of Afghanistan Cricket Board and some of Afghanistan national cricket players.
Mr. Naderi appreciated the championships of the players of the National Cricket Team and said that these champions hoisted the country's colorful flag all over the world and have won honors. Mr. Shinwari thanked the State Minister for Peace for his continued cooperation with the board and the cricket players. Shinwari said that Mr. Naderi, as a former member of the National Cricket Board, had worked tirelessly for Afghanistan to become a permanent member of the World Cricket Council.
Both sides also discussed how to convey peace through sports, especially cricket.
The State Minister for Peace described sports as the best means of uniting nations and strengthening national unity, and expressed hope that the players of the national cricket team would also be effective in conveying peace.
