The fifth meeting of the Committee for the Prevention of Harassment of Women was held

The fifth meeting of the Committee for the Prevention of Harassment of Women was held by the Gender Coordination Department of the State Ministry for Peace in the presence of Dr. Alema, Acting Minister and Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Civil Society, and female employees of the Ministry.
Referring to the current situation in Afghanistan Dr. Alema said "Afghanistan is in a sensitive security situation and all people need to stand with the system and the National security forces and work hard for bringing peace She added that Afghan women are committed to a just peace and the preservation of their 20-year achievements, and that the ministry for peace is working with all women from the capital and the provinces.
Nahida Haidari, head of the Gender Coordination of the State Ministry for Peace, said that the department is holding meetings to address the problems of women employees of the Ministry to get their opinions and suggestions.
In the meeting, women employees of the State Ministry for Peace presented their views on improving the safe working environment for women, and the Committee to Prevent Harassment of Women promised that their suggestions would be considered.
It is noteworthy that the meetings of the Committee for the Prevention of Harassment of Women of the State Ministry for Peace are held once a month to hear the views and suggestions of female employees.
