The Contact Committee of the Political Parties regarding Peace called on the Taliban to stop fighting
The contact Committee of the Political Parties announced a statement on peace and war in Afghanistan through a press conference issuing a resolution on supporting the Afghan security and defense forces while asking the Taliban to stop violence and killing civilians.
Hamdollah Hamdard, a member of the committee, referring to the current situation in the country, said: "The untimely withdrawal of the foreign forces worsened the situation and increased violence in the country;" But the Afghan people will never accept coercion. He called on the Taliban to renounce violence and war and come to the negotiating table.
He added that the Contact Committee for the Political Parties regarding Peace supports the country's security and defense forces and will work alongside Afghanistan to secure the democratic system.
Sayed Husain Hadi, another member of the committee, said that the voice of Takbir was raised by the people in Herat, Kabul and Nangarhar provinces, this voice of sympathy and unity told the Taliban that no group would defeat the people through force and violence. He added: the Taliban contrary to all international conventions and Islamic principles, shoot prisoners of war and kill civilians and innocent people by attacking civilian neighborhoods.
Mr. Hadi called on the international community and the United Nations not to leave the Afghan people alone and to boycott war criminals.
Habibullah Sanjar, a member of the Political Parties Contact Committee regarding peace said that with the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan, from an Islamic and humanitarian point of view, there is no reason for violence and killing in Afghanistan.
Shah Mahmood Popal another member of the committee said "This is an opportunity for the Taliban to negotiate and reach a political settlement," Otherwise, the Afghan people will stand with the security forces and the Taliban group will never win the war.

The resolution states that the United Nations and the involved powers must condemn war and violence and facilitate peace talks so that war and peace can be managed by the Afghans themselves.
The committee also called on the government to build a national consensus that includes all political parties.
Meanwhile, the contact Committee of Political Parties for Peace, in this resolution, expressed its firm support for the Afghan security forces and the country's democratic system.
The Contact Committee of the Political Parties for Peace consists of 72 active political parties in the country, which was established with the aim of political consensus and unity and the state Ministry for Peace facilitates its affairs.
