Training workshop on conflict resolution & peacebuilding held

A two-day workshop on conflict resolution and peacebuilding was organized by the institute of Equality for Peace and Democracy with financial and technical support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The workshop, which was held at the State Ministry for Peace (SMP), shared the experiences of war-torn countries with the participants in order to use them in resolving Afghanistan's existing problems.

The workshop emphasized on strengthening the national consensus and spreading awareness regarding the peace process.

The workshop also underlined the educational institutions’ role in the peace process.
