Abdul Salam Rahimy, Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace met with the country's political figure, Mohammad Yunus Qanooni.
The meeting emphasized the urgent need for an end to the violence and bloodshed in the country and discussed the factors affecting the establishment of a lasting peace in Afghanistan.
The State Ministry for Peace will continue to consult with elders and national leaders on peace issues.
