The State Minister for Peace met with NATO Senior Civilian Representative in Afghanistan

Abdul Salam Rahimy, Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace met with NATO Senior Civilian Representative in Afghanistan, Nicholas Kay and discussed obstacles and recent developments in the Afghanistan peace process.

In this meeting, Mr. Kay said that the NATO civilian representative in Afghanistan is ready to increase its support for the State Ministry for Peace in finding solutions to the obstacles in the way.

While thanking NATO civilian support for the Afghanistan peace process, Abdul Salam Rahimy, discussed the recent developments in the process and the significant reduction of violence.

The special representative of the president also said that numerous meetings with political leaders were held to strengthen the political consensus in this regard. He added that the government is fully prepared to move forward.
