The State Minister for Peace met with Finland Foreign Minister
Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, State Minister for Peace and Mustafa Mastoor, Senior Advisor to Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, met with Pekka Olavi Haavisto, Finland Foreign Minister and discussed the preparations for Geneva Conference.
Referring to the international community's interest in continuing support for Afghanistan and democracy in the country, the Finland Foreign Minister said that as a result of aid to Afghanistan, democratic institutions and values must be guaranteed.
The State Minister for Peace thanked Finland for its efforts to organize the Geneva Conference in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic and its limitations.
Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi spoke about the current state of the Afghanistan peace negotiations in Doha and its forward movement.
He also said that the continuation of the international community's commitments is a major part of the real messages being conveyed to the Afghan people.
In this meeting, Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi and Mostafa Mastoor expressed their readiness for any kind of cooperation for the Geneva Conference.
