The State Minister for Peace Met with the Chinese Ambassador

Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, State Minister for Peace, met with Wang Yu, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Afghanistan.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the developments in the Afghanistan peace negotiations, the role of neighbouring countries and the international community in the peace process.
Referring to the historical relations between the two countries, the State Minister for Peace stressed that the cooperation and support of neighbouring countries in the peace process is vitally important.
Minister Naderi added that maintaining and strengthening regional consensus on the Afghanistan peace negotiations will pave the way for the peace process.
The Chinese ambassador said the country supports Afghanistan's peace efforts. He expressed hope that the peace process would lead to stability and security in the region.
