Abdul Salam Rahimy, Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace met with Sharafuddin Imam, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kabul.
The meeting discussed the situation in the region and its impact on peacebuilding efforts in Afghanistan.
The State Ministry for Peace considers the role of neighboring countries important in the Afghan peace process and it paves the way for the continued involvement of international partners in the process through the establishment of a peace process support group.
