State Minister for Peace meets US Embassy’s peace & reconciliation counselor

Abdul Salam Rahimy, the Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, met with Alan Mesinheimer, the US Embassy's Peace and Reconciliation Counselor, and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides conferred on preparations and coordination for the initiation of the intra-Afghan negotiations, as well as the subsequent processes.
The meeting also emphasized that only the Afghan government and people should decide the fate of peace.
