The State Minister for Peace Meets with the UNSG’s Personal Envoy for Afghanistan and Regional Issues

State Minister for Peace Seyed Sadat Mansoor Naderi discussed and shared views about peace related issues with Jean Arnault, UNSG’s Personal Envoy for Afghanistan and Regional Issues.
The two sides discussed the need for regional cooperation in the peace process, as well as the active and effective role of the countries in the region in this regard.
The meeting also focused on initiatives to complement and support the Afghan peace efforts.
