State Minister for Peace meets the UNDP's Resident Representative

The Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, Abdul Salam Rahimy, met with Abdullah Al Dardari, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Resident Representative for Afghanistan.
During the meeting, Mr. Al Dardari reiterated UNDP’s commitment for continued assistance in peace affairs.
For his part, Mr. Rahimy brought up for discussion the work areas of the State Ministry for Peace (SMP) that needed UN’s specialized support.
He termed the programs of reintegration, job creation in areas vulnerable to war and the establishment of nationwide peace infrastructure as key tasks of the ministry.
Meanwhile, Mr. Al Dardari expressed UNDP’s support to SMP’s plans.
