State Minister for Peace meets UN envoy to Afghanistan

The Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, Abdul Salaam Rahimy, met with Tadamichi Yamamoto, the United Nations Special Representative for Afghanistan, at his office on September 26 and discussed the matters related to peace negotiations. 

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views and conferred on the peace process, the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in this regard, the assistance of the UN in achieving a sustainable and dignified peace and the way forward.
