The State Minister for Peace Meets Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan

Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, State Minister for Peace and Member of the Negotiation Team of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, met with Oğuzhan Ertuğrul, Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan.
The meeting focused on the Afghan peace process, the forthcoming conference in Istanbul and preparations for the conference.
Referring to the Republic of Turkey’s cooperation in the last two decades, the State Minister for Peace thanked Turkey for its continued support for peace in Afghanistan.
Considering the bilateral historical relations and Turkey’s position in the region, he called the forthcoming Istanbul Conference crucial for Afghanistan’s peace process.
The Turkish ambassador also said that his country will continue to cooperate in moving Afghanistan’s peace efforts forward and that the Istanbul conference aims to support the peace negotiations process.
