State Minister for Peace Meets Indonesian Ambassador to Kabul and his Delegation
The Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace Abdul Salaam Rahimy discussed the cooperation of Indonesia and the people of Afghanistan on peace efforts with Aref Rahman, the Indonesian Ambassador to Afghanistan.
Both discussed the invaluable role of Islamic scholars and women in restoring peace to Afghanistan.
Abdul Salaam Rahimy pointed at the fatwa of Islamic scholars that said the ongoing war in Afghanistan was illegitimate and has no place in religion. He praised the vital role of Islamic scholars in the establishment of a ceasefire and prevention of the ongoing slaughter of Muslims.
He also stressed that the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan supports women's role in the peace process with any possible instrument.
The ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia promised that his country will continue their support for the role of Ulema in the ongoing peace process.
