State Minister for Peace meets EU’s special envoy

The Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, Abdul Salaam Rahimy, met with Roland Kobia, the European Union’s (EU) Special Representative for Afghanistan.

During the meeting, Mr. Kobia voiced the EU’s support for the peace efforts of the government and the State Ministry for Peace (SMP).

There was also discussion about coordinating peace efforts.

Mr. Rahimy while expressing hope for achieving and establishing a sustainable peace in the country, thanked the international community and the EU for their continued cooperation in this regard.
