State Minister for Peace meets Canadian Ambassador to Kabul

The Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, Abdul Salaam Rahimy, met with Dave Metcalfe, the Canadian Ambassador to Afghanistan. 

The two sides discussed a wide range of issues during the meeting, including expanding bilateral relations between the two countries, recent events and Canada's support for the peace process. Mr. Metcalfe expressed his country's support for the Afghan peace process and stressed that it backed the intra-Afghan talks.

Mr. Rahimy thanked Canada for its support to the State Ministry for Peace (SMP)’s efforts and activities.
