Republishing the President's Speech on Peace Building as Part of the Series of Training Programs for the SMP staff

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani's speech at Kabul University was republished during a program at the State Ministry for Peace as part of the series of training programs for the State Ministry for Peace staff by the deputy ministry for Human Rights and Civil Society.
In this program, which was attended by senior advisers, directors and employees of the State Ministry for Peace, Dr. Alema, Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Civil Society of the Ministry, called the purpose of republishing this speech to raise awareness of the Ministry’s staff about peacemaking, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding.
Emphasizing the need of study for the ministry’s staff in peace-related disciplines, she added that the series of peacebuilding, peacekeeping and peacebuilding training programs will continue in the future.
In the second part of the program, participants posed their questions, which were answered by Shoaib Rahim, Senior Advisor to the State Ministry for Peace.
Concluding the program, Mr. Rahim stressed the need to improve the knowledge of peace activists, stating that the staff of the State Ministry for Peace should not be satisfied with their knowledge and should always seek the necessary knowledge and skills.
