Ratification of Mechanism of Advisory and Coordination Board of Civil Society Institutions for Peace

At a meeting, which was held to finalize the Mechanism of “Advisory and Coordination Board of Civil Society Institutions for Peace ” in the State Ministry for Peace, the Mechanism was approved by a majority vote of the board's members.
At this meeting, the revised version of this Mechanism was first shared with the board members, and after all the comments and suggestions were heard, the board members approved it by a majority vote.
The Mechanism covers the objectives of the board, its organizational structure, and the tasks of the board's general assembly.
Also, in this Mechanism, the mechanism of communication and consultation of board members with different segments of society and structures related to the peace process is considered.
It should be noted that the members of this board were selected from the center and seven zones during a consultative meeting held by the Directorate of political organizations and civil society organizations with the presence of seventy civil society organizations. The State Ministry for Peace facilitates the board's affairs.
