Rahimi confers on peace with British Ambassador to Kabul

The Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, Abdul Salaam Rahimi, met with the British Ambassador to Kabul, Alison Blake, at his office on Tuesday.
Speaking to Rahimi, Blake said: "The international community looks forward to you and your peace efforts.”
She termed the face-to-face negotiations with the Afghan government and the Taliban as crucial. 
The British ambassador also expressed her country's resolute support to Afghanistan's peace efforts.
Abdul Salam Rahimi termed the support from the international community, especially Britain, as effective for Afghan peace efforts and called for its continuation.
