The Political Parties Contact Committee for Peace Holds Its Sixth Meeting
The sixth meeting of the Political Parties Contact Committee for Peace discussed the committee's working procedures' finalization, the evaluation of the National Day of Supporting Defense and Security Forces celebration event, and future plans.
Dr. Alema, Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Civil Society of the State Ministry for Peace, praised the efforts of the Political Parties Contact Committee and called the celebration event of the National Day of Supporting Defense and Security Forces an outstanding program, saying that the political parties have worked together in unity to hold the program.
Regarding the committee's preparations for future plans, Dr. Alema said that the Political Parties' Contact Committee should work coherently and coordinated and not be uncaring for peace-related events.
The committee members then discussed some future plans, finalizing the committee's working procedure and evaluated the celebration event of the ninth of Hoot [solar year month].
Laila Jafari, Director of Political Structures and Civil Society Organizations of the State Ministry for Peace, summarized the discussions and concluded the meeting.
She said the committee would present some plans for the engagement of political parties in the peace process.
In this meeting, appreciation letters were also distributed to the employees of the security department of the State Ministry for Peace while expressing gratitude for the efforts of the security and defense forces.
