Norway will remain Afghanistan’s partner in the peace process

The State Minister for Peace, Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi met with Norwegian diplomat Kåre R. Aas in Doha. During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on the Afghanistan peace process and Norwegian cooperation in this process. 
Referring to the strong commitment of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to bringing peace, the State Minister for Peace said that this process requires the cooperation of the international community and the continuation of their support. 
Mr. Kåre R. Aas called the start of the intra-Afghan peace talks a positive step and said that the Norwegian government would be a partner of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in successfully advancing this process.
