Meeting of the Negotiation Team Members with Women Representatives from 16 Provinces
Dr. Habiba Sarabi and Sharifa Zurmati Wardak, members of the Negotiation Team of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, addressed an online meeting with women representatives from 16 provinces of Afghanistan.
At the beginning of the meeting, members of the negotiation team presented information about the activities of the negotiation team and the peace negotiation process.
The participants then shared their questions and views regarding the peace process.
The absence of the Taliban from the negotiations table, achieving a ceasefire and cessation of hostilities, the preservation of the republic system and the recent achievements of women, the protection of human rights and the inclusion of women in the negotiation process were among the issues discussed during the meeting.
It is worth mentioning that this meeting was held by the Cordaid Organization in Kabul, and the representatives of women from Jawzjan, Kabul, Badakhshan, Parwan, Helmand, Takhar, Paktia, Paktika, Nimroz, Maidan Wardak, Baghlan, Kandahar, Samangan, Nangarhar, Logar and Daikundi provinces attended the meeting.
