Meeting of the State Minister for Peace with Ustad Karim Khalili, Leader of the Islamic Unity Party

Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, State Minister for Peace, met this afternoon with Ustad Karim Khalili, Leader of Hezb-e-Wahdat-e-Islami Afghanistan (Islamic Unity Party of Afghanistan), former Vice President and former Chairman of the High Peace Council.
The recent developments in the peace process and the Doha peace negotiations were discussed during the meeting.
The State Minister for Peace called the views and role of jihadi leaders, political and influential figures, vitally important in strengthening the national consensus for peace in the country, and noted Ustad Khalili's suggestions for the acceleration and success of the Doha peace negotiations.
