Meeting of the State Minister for Peace with Norway's Special Representative for Afghanistan

Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, the State Minister for Peace and member of the negotiating team of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, met with Mr. Pierre Albert Ilsas, Norwegian Special Representative for Afghanistan, today in Doha of Qatar.
Referring to Norway's important role in supporting the Afghan peace process, the State Minister for Peace said that the people of Afghanistan welcome this country's efforts.
During the meeting, which discussed various aspects of the Afghanistan peace negotiations, Mr. Naderi said he hopes that with the cooperation of Afghan peace supporters, the State Ministry for Peace would be able to expand public support for the peace process throughout Afghanistan.
He highlighted that the voices and concerns of various strata of the society, especially women, youth, and civil society organizations, should be clearly heard from all over the country.
