Meeting of the State Minister for Peace with the Ambassador of Indonesia, Turkey and the Permanent Representative of OIC in Afghanistan
Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi the State Minister for Peace and member of the negotiating team of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with Turkish Ambassador Oğuzhan Ertuğrul, Indonesian Ambassador Dr. Arief Rachman and the Permanent Representative of OIC in Afghanistan Mr. Huseyin Avni Botsali.
During the meeting, the State Minister for Peace emphasized the importance of the greater role of Islamic countries in the Afghan peace process, he also thanked Turkey for its support to #Afghanistan and its willingness to support the peace process and thanked OIC for its unwavering support for the peace process reflected in the resolutions of its 47th Council of Foreign Ministers meeting.
The Turkish Ambassador emphasized on the need for regional consensus and Turkey's willingness to activate existing regional platforms for that purpose.
The Minister also discussed the important role of Indonesia in the group of 5 and asked for its role in mobilizing female religious scholars of the Islamic world in support of peace in Afghanistan.
in response to which Arief Rachman announced readiness to host a conference in Jakarta.
