Meeting of the Leadership Committee of Women and Different Groups’ Engagement Policy

Meeting of the leadership committee of women and different groups’ engagement policy was held with the participation of Ms. Habiba Sarabi and Ms. Fawzia Koofi, members of the negotiation team of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as well as Ms. Zohra Motahar Ahmadzai, Deputy of the High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR), Dr. Alema, Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Civil Society Organizations of the State Ministry for Peace, and some members of the HCNR.
The meeting discussed the plan of policy for the engagement of women and different groups in the peace process, including vulnerable groups and minorities.
It’s worth mentioning that the implementation of this policy paves the way to receive consultations and opinions and ensure greater involvement of women, vulnerable groups and minorities in the peace process.
