Introduction Ceremony of the Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Civil Society of the State Ministry for Peace
During a ceremony attended by the State Minister for Peace, government officials, senior officials of the Ministry and representatives of civil society and human rights, Dr. Alema, in a beyond the grade position, was introduced as the Deputy Minister of Human Rights and Civil Society of the State Ministry for Peace.
In this event, Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, the State Minister for Peace, referring to Dr. Alema’s work background, experiences and previous achievements, called her appointment as the Deputy Minister of Human Rights and Civil Society an honor for this ministry.
He cited the high working moral and valuable cooperation as the basis of the work in the State Ministry for Peace.
Dr. Alema, Deputy Minister of Human Rights and Civil Society, also expressed her gratitude for the trust of the leadership and the State Ministry for Peace, and said that the duties assigned to the Deputy Minister will be carried out in full honesty and patriotism.
She added that peace in Afghanistan must be accompanied by victim-centered justice and that the civil and political rights of citizens, especially women, must be protected. Dr. Alema stated that she is working to turn peace into a valuable discourse of which human rights are a major component.
At the end, attendees and guests of the event accompanied Dr. Alema, Deputy Minister of Human Rights and Civil Society, to her office and prayed for her success in her assignments.
