Holding a consultative meeting with tribal elders of the north and east zones

Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai, Deputy Minister for Coordination of Tribes and Institutions of the State Ministry for Peace, and Sayed Fahim Sorosh, Senior Advisor to the State Ministry for Peace, met with a number of tribal elders from the northern and eastern zones.

Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai, Deputy Minister for Coordination of Tribes and Institutions of the State Ministry for Peace, called the role of tribal elders in the peace process important and crucial. He stressed that tribal elders have played an important role throughout the history, and now that Afghanistan is at a critical juncture, there is a need for tribal elders and influential people to invite all people in their areas, districts and provinces to unity and brotherhood and to cooperate with the peace process.

Sayed Fahim Sorosh, Senior Advisor to the State Ministry for Peace, also said that the State Ministry for Peace is committed to gathering the views and suggestions of all people on the peace process, and that these views are important and decisive.

The tribal elders and influential people of the northern and eastern zones emphasized that the people of these zones will carry out their mission for peace and will be united in working for peace.

It is noteworthy that the State Ministry for Peace has already held consultative meetings with various strata.
