Farewell and Appreciation Ceremony for Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai, Deputy Minister for Coordination of Tribal Affairs and Institutions of the SMP
A Farewell ceremony and appreciation of the activities of Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai, Deputy Minister for Tribal Affairs and Institutions of the State Ministry for Peace was held with the participation of Sayed Sadat Mansoor Naderi, State Minister for Peace, Ghulam Yahya Abbasi, Deputy Minister for Support and Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Alema, Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Civil Society, senior advisors, directors and employees of the State Ministry for Peace in the ministry's meeting hall.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Sayed Saadat Mansoor Naderi, while appreciating the work of Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai, former Deputy Minister for Coordination of Tribal Affairs and Institutions of the State Ministry for Peace, called him a national and influential figure and said that he had done great and valuable work in the State Ministry for Peace. He added that as the Ministry’s role is like a bridge between the people and the government, Mr. Balakarzai was the connection point of different strata with the Ministry.
The State Minister for Peace wished Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai success in representing the people in the Wolesi Jirga.
Mr. Naderi also appreciated the work and efforts of Mr. Balakarzai and the staff of the State Ministry for peace for organizing the Consultative Peace Loya Jirga and said that the Presidency had awarded medals and certificates to some members of the organizing committee of the Consultative Peace Loya Jirga.
He called on all SMP employees to work together in a positive spirit and without discrimination, in an atmosphere of cooperation and friendship so that the Ministry represents unity and solidarity for all segments of the society.
Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai, former Deputy Minister of the State Ministry for Peace, expressed his gratitude for the leadership of the government and the State Ministry for Peace, saying that during his tenure as Deputy Minister, he has spared no effort for peace; but now with the opportunity for people representation in the Wolesi Jirga, he has preferred serving the people directly and direct communication with the people.
After that, Bismillah Saed, director of Human Resources of the State Ministry for Peace, read President Ghani's instruction to hand over Sardar Mohammad Ayub Khan's medal to 12 members of the Organizing Committee of the Consultative Peace Loya Jirga.
At the end of the meeting, the State Minister for Peace placed the Mohammad Ayub Khan Medal on the chest of Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai and distributed certificates of appreciation to the heads and staff.
