EIP expresses readiness to work with SMP
A meeting between the officials of the State Ministry for Peace (SMP) and the European Institute of Peace (EIP) discussed the technical support the institution could provide and the sharing of its scientific experience and expertise with SMP.
Shoaib Rahim, SMP’s senior advisor, Sayed Madadi, director of foreign relations and Najia Anwari, general director of strategic communications at the ministry, met with Patrick de Vries, senior advisor to EIP, and his accompanying delegation at the SMP’s premises.
Mr. Rahim called the EIP as one of the highly-accredited international peace organizations, saying that its experience in peacebuilding in other countries would be beneficial to the SMP.
Mr. Vries said the issue of Afghan peace was important to the world. He expressed his readiness for comprehensive cooperation in institutional development and sharing of the experiences.
