Consultative Meeting of the Negotiation Team with the People of Kandahar, Herat, Nangarhar, Ghazni and Kunduz Provinces

A consultative meeting of the negotiation team with various segments of the people of Kandahar, Herat, Nangarhar, Ghazni and Kunduz provinces, hosted by the Deputy Ministry for Coordination of Tribes, was held at the State Ministry for Peace.
The meeting was attended by Mohammad Masoom Stanekzai, head of the negotiation team, Sharifa Zurmati Wardak, member of the team, and Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai, Deputy Minister for Coordination of Tribes and Institutions of the State Ministry for Peace.
During the meeting, the head and members of the negotiation team shed light on the first round of the negotiations, and assured the participants that the consultative meetings of the team with the people will also continue during the second round of the negotiations, and they will continuously receive the views and suggestions of the people.
The participants expressed their gratitude for the performance of the negotiation team and shared their demands and suggestions with the team members.
Preservation of the last two decades achievements, reduction of violence and declaring a ceasefire, supporting the freedoms and rights of the people and paying more attention to the demands of the people in the peace process were some of the issues discussed by the participants.
