China declares readiness to cooperate in Afghan peace

The Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, Abdul Salam Rahimy, met with the Chinese Foreign Ministry's Special Representative for Afghanistan, Deng Xijun, and his delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the various stages of implementation of the peace process in Afghanistan, the role of the State Ministry for Peace (SMP) and Chinese cooperation in this process.
Mr. Deng announced his country's comprehensive cooperation for better implementation of the peace process.
