Advisory meeting of the leadership of the State Ministry for Peace with the families of war victims
Abdul Salam Rahimy, Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, and Abdul Khaliq Balakarzai, Deputy Minister for Coordination of tribes of this ministry, met with some families of war victims.
In this series of consultative meetings between the State Ministry for Peace and various strata, members of the families of war victims first shared their views, opinions and questions about the peace process with the State Ministry for Peace.
Families of war victims have called for the government and the leadership of the State Ministry for Peace to pay close attention to the rights of war victims in the peace process, declaring support for any action that could lead to peace.
Emphasizing that they want peace, they said that the situation of the victims of the war should not be ignored in the peace process and that the material and spiritual rights of the victims should be protected.
The participants in the meeting also said that they want a peace that will curb religious, sect and intellectual extremism and that all people feel to be part of the process.
They also called for the physical presence of representatives of the families of war victims in the peace process negotiations.
Following that, Abdul Salam Rahimy, Special Representative of the President and the State Minister for Peace, answered questions and concerns after hearing the views of the participants.
The State Minister for Peace said that the leadership of the government and the ministry are trying to make the voices of all the victims of the war heard in the peace process; But to achieve this, these voices and demands must be integrated by themselves.
